I’ve mentioned before that I’m participating in a year-long block swap with some of the gals from Threadbias and tonight I finished another block. I’m trying to get them all together in one folder so I’ve been moving them. I thought this was a good place to put them so I’ll see them all together…provided I can find them all. I sometimes take a photo of a block in the midst of another group of photos and it gets lost for a while. Let’s see how I’m doing so far.
This is the one I made Tuesday evening. It’s a Granny Square block. I love this block. I didn’t really like it the first time I made one for an earlier swap but I do like it much more this time.
July’s block. Gradients of green in a flying geese pattern.
June’s block. This one was the “Grand Tour” block where we each chose one town in a country.
May’s block. I’m pretty sure this was May’s though there is one block missing. Three colors chosen by the “queen” and block of her chose.
April’s block – Stars All Around for someone who asked for stars.
March block -
January’s block -
Well, that’s not bad. I’ve only misplaced one photo!
I also “angeled” on a block when someone dropped out so that’s these blocks. These were all folded in the envelope when I remembered I hadn’t photographed them!
The one that’s missing is the filmstrip block for Chandra. I will have to go back and see when her month was and then go through my photos around that time. I’m sure I’ll come up with it, or at least I hope I will! Hope not but it’s not the end of the world. I know the months are mixed up too and I’ll have to straighten that out for myself at some point but at least I found most of them.
I think so far I’ve enjoyed making the Granny block (the second time) and the Rome block the most.
That’s it for today!
Happy Tuesday everyone!
